Clarence's Favourites on Heart 104.9 FM every Sunday will be transported to the main stage at the Baxter with Alistair Izobell as producer and performer, with a 7-piece band and 6 backing vocalists, featuring Felicity Keron and Nur Abrahams. HIP HOP KASLAM

3 March (Concert Hall)
Hip Hop Kaslam, the ground-breaking Spaza event from Cape Town, brings Xhosa street slang and hip hop to the stage, where musicians, singers and emcees rock the stage. This musical celebration of home-brewed hip hop from ekasi (the township) features a jam-packed programme led by local legends of this genre. Hip Hop Kaslam pays tribute to music and artists from ekasi who rap about life ekasi in the language of ekasi.

The Bosmont Male Group (BMG) is a Christian vocal music group based in Johannesburg, which performs predominantly Christian music in churches or for community-based projects. They have recently recorded some classic gospel songs such as "We are the reason", "Total praise" and "We will stand" for their debut CD, and will be performing these classics, but with a fresh modern sound, at the Baxter. We will laugh together, cry together and worship together as BMG takes the audience on a journey through time.

CELEBRATION OF SITAR
14 April (Concert Hall)
Celebration of Sitar is a concert of Indian Classical and Folk Music led by the sitar maestro Ustad Shujaat Khan, one of the finest sitarists of his generation. He has developed his own unique style of playing Indian classical music. His approach to rhythm is largely intuitive, fresh and spontaneous, always astonishing his audiences. He is also known for his exceptional voice, which he uses for singing folk songs and poetry.
The first half will feature a traditional Indian Classical recital by Ustad Shujaat Khan on sitar accompanied by Yogesh Samsi on tabla. The second half will feature an offering of light classical, folk, ghazal, and sufi renditions (on sitar and vocal) by Ustad Shujaat Khan accompanied by Ajay Prasanna (bansuri/bamboo flute), Amit Choubey (tabla), and Ojas Adhiya (tabla).

FREE CONCERTS
Members of the public are welcome to attend the weekly performers' classes and lunchtime concerts which take place every Wednesday at 14:00 and Thursday at 13:00 respectively during the academic term. Admission is free, and the concerts fit neatly into an hour.
