Dr. Sibusiso Masondo
Religion in Africa, Comparative Religion
Dr. Masondo's research and teaching is focused, broadly speaking, around African Religion, culture and philosophy. More specifically, Dr Masondo is concerned with African Traditional Religion, African Christianity and indigenous meaning systems, African Indigenous Churches, and comparative religion. His current research looks at worship practices at Nazareth Baptist Church, the ethics of “umuntu akalahlwa”, conversion from an African perspective, and African Pentecostalism.
