Ms. Birgit Taylor
Birgit graduated from UNISA in 1999 with a BCom in
General Management and Organisational Psychology. In 2004 she completed her
MA in Religious Studies which includes a dissertation entitled Outrageous
Women: A comparison of five passages within the Canonical Passion and Empty
Tomb narratives emphasizing the Role of Women. She is now a PhD
candidate in the Department of Religious Studies at UCT. Her research
focuses on the theology of time in the book of Revelation. Birgit has
presented papers at the Stellenbosch Postgraduate Seminar, the New Testament
Society of South Africa and the Alexander Humboldt Kolleg (Stellenbosch).
Birgit is also the Administrative Assistant to the Head of the Department of
Religious Studies.
