Hugo van der Merwe
Hugo van der Merwe
is the Transitional Justice Programme Manager at the Centre
for the Study of Violence and Reconciliation in South
Africa. Hugo received his doctorate in Conflict Analysis
and Resolution from George Mason University (1999) and a BSc
from the University of Cape Town (majoring in Statistics and
Sociology). Hugo was previously employed at the Centre for
Applied Legal Studies (Johannesburg) Centre for Conflict
Resolution (Cape Town) and Institute for Conflict Analysis
and Resolution (USA).
