André du Toit

Professor  André du Toit is an Emeritus Professor with the department and has a Drs Phil from Leyden University and a DPhil. from Stellenbosch University. His research interests are: Intellectual history of South African political thought and traditions; political ethics, ideologies and discourse;  philosophical reflections on the Truth and Reconciliation Commission; the narrative interpretation of political violence in South Africa.
