The adult and paediatric sections of the department are actively involved in various research projects investigating brain and spinal disorders. Key areas include pituitary (Patrick Semple), cerebrovascular (Allan Taylor and David LeFeuvre), spinal (David Welsh) and paediatric neurosurgical conditions (Graham Fieggen and Tony Figaji).
