Cape Town is a magnificent city situated at the southern tip of the African continent - the gateway to Africa. It offers world class conference facilities in one of the most beautiful settings in the world, with its instantly-recognizable mountain skyline and pristine beaches. Featuring regularly in the top positions of tourist destination surveys, the city hosts a remarkable collection of scenic sites and is becoming even more popular in the run-up to the 2010 Soccer World Cup, for which it is one of the host cities. Make sure you have some extra time before or after the congress for activities as diverse as wine-tasting in the superb winelands of the Cape, great white shark cage diving in Gansbaai, whale-watching in Hermanus, Big-Five African Safari game drives, and many more.
