The Research Seminar is a relaxed and welcoming forum in which both members of the department and visiting academics can present work in progress. Meetings happen between 13:00 and 14:00 every second Tuesday in Room A116, but extra events are scheduled as necessary. If you are interested in attending or offering a seminar, please contact hedley.twidle@uct.ac.za or mbongiseni.buthelezi@uct.ac.za.
See also the website of the Coetzee Collective, which hosts many distinguished speakers and visitors to the English Department.
