Information for prospective teachers who have degrees

If you already have a degree, you will need to do a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education), which is a one year, full time qualitification. (Note that a revised qualification with the same purposes, the Advanced Diploma in Teaching, will replace the PGCE, it is anticipated, by 2015.)
