 How do I go about applying for Funding at UCT?

 Successful applicants may apply to UCT postgraduate funding office for a bursary. Please contact the postgraduate office at  gradcentre@uct.ac.za or tel.: +27 (0)21 650 2206. Alternatively you may visit their  website for more information http://www.pgfo.uct.ac.za.  Please note that these forms are due anytime from July to Oct of the year preceding studies

Is it compulsory to have an African language?

Applicants are expected to have made an effort in obtaining another language other than English and Afrikaans within the South African context.

What is the highest qualification needed to apply for Masters in Clinical Psychology? 

All applicants for the programme must be in possession of an honours degree in psychology from a South African university, or an equivalent qualification recognised by the University of Cape Town and the Professional Board of Psychology. Students applying from outside of South Africa should apply to the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) in order to have their degree evaluated.   Please visit the SAQA website for further information regarding the evaluation of foreign qualifications.

Students who are currently completing their Honours degree must submit a mid year progress report.

 

4.  When do the interviews take place?

The interviews will take place during the week of 06 -10 August 2012.
