The Department of Chemistry has a number of marketing and outreach activities in schools, aimed at the promotion of Chemistry.
We participate in the Faculty of Science “Open Day” programme and the "Cape Flats Science Day" to popularize the discipline of Chemistry.
When requested, we assist high school learners with the implementation of science related projects by  providing lab space, equipment and expertise. By arrangement, we can organise group visits to our laboratories.
