Third incumbent of the Second Chair in Anaesthesia and Deputy Head of the Department, succeeding Prof. A Bösenberg.

Prof. Dyer is head of the obstetric anaesthesia services at GSH with a keen interest in research in this subspecialty.
Rob also does regular cardio-thoracic lists and is in charge of the anaesthesia research programme at UCT.
