Second incumbent of the Second Chair in Anaesthesia and Deputy Head of the Department, succeeding Prof. J Viljoen, who has retired.

"Bosie" was previously an Associate Professor at the University of Natal and has a particular interest in paediatric regional and local anaesthesia techniques.
