The Intesive Care Units (Respiratory-, Surgical-, Cardio-thoracic- and Isolation- ICUs) are jointly staffed by the Departments of Critical Care and Anaesthesia and treat adult non-cardiac medical-, surgical- and cardio-thoracic- patients.

Anaesthesia staff consists of 4 consultants (3 fulltime and 1 rotating / training) and 3 rotating registrars; with part-time consultants, registrars and a senior house officer from the Depts. of Medicine, Surgery and Cardio-thoracic surgery.
